Materials and furniture that support the developmental needs of the child.

Milos, Leonor & Luka

"Our love story begins on one of the islands of the Bahamas. It took a hurricane storm (Irma) to bring together these two souls from different corners of Europe.

When we were blessed with our first child, we realized that the Montessori philosophy was the path we wanted to follow to support and guide his development. Leonor completed courses from the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) for ages 0 to 3. Through the training, we understood that implementing Montessori principles required more than just theoretical knowledge. It demanded a welcoming environment filled with specially designed materials and furniture proportionate to the children's size to support the child's development and independence. And so, with her love for creation and a deep passion for the Montessori approach, we began creating these materials on our own.

Inspired by the needs of our child and guided by the principles we had learned, we created furniture and materials that promoted order, independence, and free exploration based on our child's interests. Each piece was made with love and dedication, a tangible symbol of our commitment to providing an ideal environment for our child's growth and development.

This journey evolved into a beautiful experience of parenthood, education, and creativity, and thus "Eu e Montessori" was born. Now, we have decided to expand our knowledge in creating materials and furniture that can help families and schools prepare an environment that respects the real needs of children."
